Cancellation and Refund Policy

We stand behind our work. If something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right. That said, because every product is made just for you, we have to be clear about what we can and cannot accommodate once production is underway.

Custom and Personalized Items

Because all products at The Details Events are custom made to your specifications, we are unable to issue refunds once production has begun. Production begins after you approve your digital proof. Before that point, your order can still be adjusted or cancelled.

Please review your proof thoroughly before approving it. Check all names, dates, spelling, and design details carefully. Once you submit your approval, production starts and the order is considered final.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided that your digital proof has not yet been sent. To request a cancellation, email us at [email protected] as soon as possible with your order number.

Once a proof has been sent, the order cannot be cancelled, as design work has already been completed. If you have not yet approved the proof, you may still request changes at that stage.

Errors on Our Part

If your order arrives with an error that was not present in your approved proof and was caused by us, we will make it right at no cost to you. This includes production errors, printing defects, or items that do not match the approved proof. Contact us within 5 business days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we will arrange a full reprint or issue a refund, at our discretion.

Damage During Shipping

If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 5 days of delivery. Include clear photos of the damaged item and the packaging it arrived in. We will work with you to arrange a reprint at no additional charge. Claims submitted after 5 days of delivery may not be eligible for a reprint.

Digital Products

Digital products including printable files, digital invitations, and digital add-ons are non-refundable once the files have been delivered. Because digital files can be retained and used after delivery, we are unable to issue refunds for these products after they have been sent to you.

If you have a concern about a digital file you received, such as a technical issue or an error on our part, contact us and we will work to resolve it.

When you provide your phone number through any form on our site, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from The Details. These may include booking confirmations, event reminders, coordinator updates, and payment notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
